About

History

Proudly Serving Our Customers Since 1987

Jackson Mfg., Inc. is a custom plastic injection molding company based in Maquoketa, Iowa. For over three decades, we’ve delivered high-quality plastic components with small-town care and nationwide reach.

Our story began in 1987, when Illinois Tool Works (ITW) opened a plastics and assembly facility in Maquoketa. For more than ten years, the facility partnered with a local nonprofit, providing contract assembly jobs to individuals with disabilities throughout Eastern Iowa. That partnership continues today.

In 2013, Jackson Mfg., Inc. entered its next chapter when Jack and Sarah Hasken acquired the company to prevent its closure. Their vision was clear: retain the workforce, support inclusive employment, and continue serving valued customers with dedication and integrity. With strong backing from the City of Maquoketa and the Jackson County Economic Alliance (JCEA), the company was reborn as Jackson Mfg., Inc.
